Babolat RPM Blast
RPM Blast is a durable co-poly string that is spin-friendly. The slick surface of RPM Blast allows the main strings to slide out of alignment, grab the ball and then snap back to add spin to the shot. RPM Blast offers a slightly softer feel than traditional polyesters. It is an ideal choice for big hitters with heavier racquets seeking maximum control, durability, and spin.
Babolat RPM Power
The Babolat RPM Power poly string is both comfortable and powerful. It features a distinct coating that appears to provide a high level of spin and snapback. It also has a little more pop than RPM Blast and is ideal for players who enjoy driving the ball around the court. Recommended to intermediate and advanced players with long, fast strokes, this durable monofilament has plenty of comfort for a poly-based string.
Head Hawk Touch
Head delivers a slightly softer version of the original Hawk. This co-poly has Head's unique Crystal Core technology, featuring a pliable inner core surrounded by a firm outer shell. The result is a string that is firm enough to deliver exceptional control, but also muted enough to reduce the harshest vibrations. The low-powered response will allow big hitters to take huge cuts at the ball, a fact that bodes well for those who want to ratchet up the spin. This is a great option for strong intermediate and advanced level players who are looking for a very precise and accurate response when the stroke speed goes up.

Head Lynx Tour
In contrast to the original Lynx string's softer feel and great all-around playability, Head created Lynx Tour to provide extra control and spin. To that aim, the Head Lynx Tour features a stiffer structure, six spin-friendly edges, and a low-friction surface, allowing the strings to snap back more powerfully after impact (extra ball rotation). The feel of the Lynx Tour was perhaps the most surprising feature, since it was more comfortable and responsive than strings with comparable levels of control. Lynx Tour proved to be one of the most versatile and user-friendly polys tested in a long time. However, for the big-swinging poly player who wants total command over the ball on full swings, Lynx Tour is hard to beat.
Luxilon Alu Power
Luxilon Alu Power is suitable for high intermediate and advanced tennis players. This string features a unique co-polyester construction with aluminium that creates an increase in elasticity without sacrificing the trademark control aspect of the string. It delivers a unique blend of power, spin and control.
Solinco Confidential
Solinco Confidential is a shaped co-polyester string consisting of a stiff monofilament construction punctuated by four grippy edges. Confidential comes with off-the-charts control. Confidential might be a slightly low powered but suits ball-striker who wants a durable co-poly that rewards full swings with pinpoint accuracy with control.
Solinco Hyper-G
Hyper-G has a square shape and four grippy edges. the feel for the string is surprisingly forgiving for a heavy-duty co-poly. Another impressive feature was the tension maintenance, which is typically the biggest downside of co-polys. Hyper-G held its playability longer than the majority of the strings in its class.
Solinco Tour Bite
Solinco Tour Bite is a co-polyester tennis string with a stiff feel, a square shape and four sharp edges. The string has a stiff response, slippery surface and grippy edges, this shaped co-poly specializes in hitting spin-loaded balls that drop hard and hop powerfully off the court.
Tier One Black Knight
What makes this 6 sided co-poly string so truly special is that although it is very soft/arm-friendliness, it holds tension extremely well, offers outstanding durability AND provides the high-level player with precise depth and directional control. It is a common thought to assume that the string would respond very "springy" and lose tension quickly due to its softness. Quite to the contrary, this is one of the string's strengths!

Tecnifibre Black Code
Tecnifibre Black Code is deadly in the hands of a strong baseliner who enjoys controlling the point with heavy spin. This co-poly grabbed and rotated the ball with its shaped profile and powerful snapback. And, despite the fact that this string is very low-powered, it has a slightly bouncy (but highly controlled) launch off the stringbed. This significantly provided weight to our spin, much to the consternation of our opponents who were backpedaling. The outstanding reaction of Black Code is owed in part to Tecnifibre's Thermo Core Technology, which adds some much-needed flexibility and elasticity to this otherwise firm poly.Based on the relative comfort and vibration dampening we got from Black Code, this string definitely qualifies as a user-friendly poly. We think it will not only satisfy top level players in search of durability, bite and control, but it should also work well for the big swinging intermediates in search of a very playable and spin-friendly control string.

Tecnifibre Black Code 4S
Tecnifibre Black Code 4S is a co-polyester string with a square shape and four spin-friendly edges. The most distinguishing feature of this string was its control. Simply put, Black Code 4S allows for the execution of powerful strokes without worry of overhitting. The Black Code 4S is a softer version of the original Black Code. Our ability to take massive upward cuts at the ball, paired with the four gripping edges of this string, is a recipe for massive spin. Another distinguishing element of this spin-friendly co-poly was its stiffness. This string is for the poly veteran who wants a well-crafted tool for converting big swings into spin-loaded missiles that drop sharply and accurately.

Tecnifibre Ice Code
Tecnifibre Ice Code, and it received high marks in a variety of categories, including playability duration, which is the Achilles' heel of polyester strings. Ice Code's strength rests in its stiff construction, which provided players with the control they required to perform their most powerful strokes without hesitation. The ability to attack the ball with aggressive stroke speed resulted in plenty of power and simple access to spin. Unlike other strings with similar levels of control, Ice Code never felt dead, unpleasant, or "boardy," making it one of the more appealing control strings our team has tried. Although the string doesn't have any significant downsides, Ice Code is likely too underpowered for beginners or players with compact strokes. However, for the experienced player who wants a long-lasting poly with surgical targeting on full swings, Ice Code is as good as it gets.
Tecnifibre Razor Code
Tecnifibre ATP Razor Code is a co-poly developed to provide advanced ball strikers with superior control, spin, and durability. The ATP Razor Code was notably more comfortable than several of the stiffer, more typical polys we'd tried, as well as more responsive at slower swing speeds. This improved playability is partly due to Tecnifibre's Thermocore Technology, a unique manufacturing technique that boosts polyester flexibility without sacrificing sharp reaction. ATP Razor Code, in contrast to the deader polys we usually employ, was quite active and required somewhat higher string tensions to improve control. Ultimately, for the player who wants a durable and spin-friendly co-poly with above average pop and comfort, we think ATP Razor Code is definitely worth a test drive.

Tourna Big Hitter Blue
This blue version of Big Hitter offers a softer feel than the original yet still offers all the control power players need. The soft poly-poly ether material with aluminium fibres provides a softer feel than traditional polyester strings and provides improved comfort. Excellent spin capability and excellent durability with this string. Offers good tension maintenance for a co-poly string.
Solinco Vanquish
Solinco Vanquish is perfect for players seeking comfort and power, Solinco Vanquish features a multifilament construction using Du Pont polyamide fibers. These high modulus fibers ensure exceptional elasticity, providing ball acceleration and a soft feel. Vanquish softens the overall feel when used with a polyester string without sacrificing the control and spin players want.

Alpha Gut 2000
Alpha Gut 2000 is a multifilament tennis string with ultra-pliable construction, with a near perfect score for comfort. It also has some power under the hood, but unlike experience with other comparable multis, the pop of Gut 2000 was never overwhelming. Although spin potential was high for a multi, it isn't as high as for a shaped poly. Ultimately, for the player who wants a comfortable multifilament with great control and impressive all-around playability, Alpha Gut 2000 is as good as it gets. Factor in the low price and you have one of the best value multifilaments ever made.
